Welcome to my blog of short stories and flash fiction (mostly from Chuck Wendig’s great writing blog terribleminds). And here’s a little bit about me.

Since childhood, Caitlin has written many short stories, mainly fantasy – with wizards, fantastical monsters and dragons, you can’t forget dragons. But now she writes Steampunk – fantasy with a futuristic Victorian twist. Airships? Of course. Automatons? You bet. Rayguns? Why not! Stories that makes our world just a little bit more interesting, with the ability to mask the humdrum days we all have – those cold, grey, rainy, depressing days. The days you accidentally sleep in, lock yourself out of the house, battle morning rush hour and realize your still wearing your slippers. She has a steampunk short story in Xchyler Publishing’s ‘Forged in Flame: A Dragon Anthology’ (with a steampunk dragon!), along with self-published Steampunk story collections (and a steampunk-ish novel), and a short story published with Max Avalon Shorts available on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/author/caitlinmccoll) and other online retailers (like Smashwords http://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/arrawyn ).

Caitlin lives in beautiful Vancouver, Canada with her husband and dog. Check out her website: www.caitlinmccoll.ca
